Online since March 2010, and formerly known as Simple-Type.org, Color-Trap.net is the hobby domain of myself—Hillary—and plays host to whatever whims strike me at any moment; it has been nicknamed the Color Toxicity Network, a nod to my clear enjoyment in the (ab)use of color...
Much like its predecessor (Simple-Type.org, 2005-2012), the primary purpose of Color-Trap is to act as a place for me to relax and take it easy on the web, but also encourage myself in web design, image manipulation, and graphic design. I prefer simplicity in my overall presentations, but I use the place often enough to practice more complex forms of coding and design. I enjoy the challenge... and learning.
A few more objectives are to (gently) inspire others to use a little more color in their designs—color is nothing to fear in web design—but also show my fellow amateurs, coding to the utmost standard is nothing to fear, either.
